Terravita: Real Estate at Its Best in Scottsdale Arizona
Terravita is one of Scottsdale, Arizona’s premier real estate developments. Terravita was created by real estate developer Del Webb beginning in late 1993 and was their first non-age restricted community. I, Scott Gaertner, was the number one real estate broker for new home sales, selling more Terravita homes than anyone, $66 million in sales. No one knows Terravita real estate better than I do and I am ready to help you buy or sell. If that sounds like bragging, remember I am applying for a job as your Realtor!
The Terravita gated planned community consists of 823 acres with a wide range of home and lot sizes complimented by excellent amenities including an 18 hole championship golf course, clubhouse facilities with dining, a swim and tennis center, a health and fitness center and a community wide 6 mile long system of jogging and walking trails.
Terravita golf and the Terravita Golf & Country Club are of great interest to many buyers. The golf course at Terravita was created by PGA Hall of Fame member Billy Casper and designer Greg Nash, whose name is synonymous with beautiful, playable golf courses that provide fun, fair challenges to players of all abilities while blending seamlessly with their natural surroundings. The Terravita golf course is an excellent example of Greg’s design skills. Terravita Country Club amenities include a pro shop, a large driving range, and three separate areas to practice chipping and putting.
Real estate in the Terravita community includes a wide range of homes with great floor plans suitable for everyone from larger families to couples looking for a part time or retirement residence. You can see all of the Terravita home floor plans here.
One of the features of Terravita real estate compared to some other developments in the Scottsdale, Arizona area is the overall development design which maximizes the natural beauty of the high Sonoran desert while minimizing things man made. Terravita real estate meets or exceeds the Scottsdale, Arizona Environmentally Sensitive Land Ordinance. Whenever I am asked what Terravita’s very best feature is, my answer is always the folks who live here. They are an extremely health conscious, fun group of unpretentious folks, who enjoy an incredibly active lifestyle with like minded friends and neighbors.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by any of our open houses this weekend. I always enjoy reconnecting with all of you, and appreciate all of your support. (By the way - you got the job done we sold Crested Saguaro! You guys are the best sales force in the valley. Thank you!)
The Terravita Real Estate market had a good month with 3 homes going under contract, and the average price per foot climbing from $237 in September to $272 in October. You really gotta let that soak in though. Remember - the clubhouse was being remodeled, the golf course was closed for overseeding, and the national economy took the largest hit in at least my lifetime. All things considered - that is a good month.
